Privacy Notice

We only hold personal data we where have a lawful basis for doing so, in accordance with the Data Protection Act 2018.

For what purposes will your information be held?
We need to maintain a record of your details if you are a member and also to be able to communicate with you, if you wish.
 
If you are already a member, or wish to become one, we will keep the personal information you provide for the sole purpose of maintaining accurate records for our membership database. This will continue for as long as you are a member of the Friends of Gedling Country Park (and for a period of 3 months thereafter to allow us to send you a renewal reminder), or until you withdraw that permission in writing (whichever is the shorter period).
 
The personal information listed in the database will be your name (and for Family Membership, the names and ages of the family members you gave us), your address, telephone number(s) and email address(es). We will assume permission is granted to hold all of this information unless you specifically request us to withhold any part of those details.
 
However, we would also like your explicit consent to contact you, to provide you information about our activities, the park and related events.
 
Who will be able to access your information?
All details will be available to the Trustees of the Friends of Gedling Country Park.

We will protect your data and we will never sell or transfer your data to third parties (except where required to do so by law).

We will only contact you using the methods we have received your consent for us to use.
